BBC First sits alongside our existing portfolio of channels on Foxtel – BBC UKTV, BBC Knowledge, CBeebies and BBC World News – offering a breadth of quality programming and making Foxtel the new home of BBC TV in Australia. Through our industry-leading TV sales team, our programmes are available on most Australian platforms. We have a second window deal with the ABC, Dancing With The Stars on Seven, natural history on Ten, Da Vinci’s Demons on FX, Orphan Black on SBS, Doctor Who Classics on SYFY, titles on iTunes, Quickflix and Fetch, and many more. We recently agreed a production partnership with FremantleMedia Australia to produce BBC Worldwide

BANISHED FIRST LOCAL COMMISSION FOR BBC FIRST Banished is an epic seven part series from award winning writer/creator Jimmy McGovern (story producer Redfern Now). The series has been co-commissioned with BBC Two in the UK and begins filming in Sydney this April before moving to Manchester in the UK.
