OMBUDSMEN Defensor del Pueblo Spanish Ombudsman

The Defensor del Pueblo, at the request of the complainant may investigate any alleged misconduct by public authorities, and sometimes intervene in cases where the complaint has been filed. The Defensor del Pueblo also has the responsibility of detecting problems regarding the ill-treatment in detention centres.

HUMAN RIGHTS Amnesty International (Spain)

Amnesty International is a campaigning organisation. Its aim is to protect people wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. All campaigns differ from country to country.
