How to use LHF Flash Script Swashes Method 1 1. With your application’s “Type Tool” type out a word using LHF Flash Script 1 or LHF Flash Script 2.

2. While the cursor is still flashing at the end of the word add any letter of the alphabet. In this case an extra “a” has been typed. This letter will become our swash later.

3. Using your Type Tool’s cursor highlight the last letter you typed.

4. With the last letter still highlighted, change the font to LHF Flash Script Swashes. Since each letter in the LHF Flash Script Swashes font is mapped to a unique swash, you will see the swash that is mapped to the letter “a”. No kerning adjustment is necessary. The swash will automatically connect to the last letter in the word. To view all available swashes and the letters they correspond to, visit: www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/flashscript.php

3. While the cursor is still flashing at the end of the word type any letter of the alphabet.
