What will we cover: Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management 8 Design and Configuration Boot Camp is a hands-on workshop with the principal objective of ensuring attendees are able to design and configure P6 EPPM solutions and enterprise structures against business use cases and scenarios using the materials for support purposes. The Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management 8 Design and Configuration Boot Camp is a five-day instructor led workshop. Note: The duration is intended for general reference. The boot camp instructor may recommend a different approach in rolling the class. Students are required to check the boot camp duration for the scheduled event they are interested in.

Prerequisite Training and Environment Requirements: All attendees must have studied the “Introduction to Primavera P6 EPPM Release 8.x” manual available on PGBU partner searchlight. Without a thorough understanding of this basic end user functionality the boot camp will be of little use.

Additionally, attendees should have read the ‘Designing and Configuring Primavera Solutions in EPPM P6R8.x manual’ which provides the supporting material for the boot camp and should be looked at in conjunction with P6 EPPM overviews and materials available on oracle.com and referenced in the Learn More tab on this site. A business scenario will be provided on day one of the course. This will allow attendees to configure a system from a new database and present to the group on the final day of the training. Some homework should be expected in order to practice the topics learnt in class against the scenario. Both of the manuals referenced above map to the standard shipped databases available on e-delivery. Participants are encouraged to have either installed EPPM via e-delivery or have a hosted solution for pre-requisite work. All participants are required to bring a laptop to the training. The primary method of delivery will be viable a cloud solution however back up will be using VM ware images. In order to run a VM images a minimum configuration as below is desired.
