Research Interest Maratha History particularly Medieval history of Maharashtra and the relations of different political units of Marathas in Maharashtra as well as out side Maharashtra. Apart from that the interest area covers the Art and Architecture, Iconography, Epigraphy and Numismatics of Early Historic and Medieval period of Maharashtra. The specialization in Modi script has been proved immensely helpful in research work related to Maratha history.
