Signing Up to Become a Volunteer • Go to http://nwmetroatlantahabitat.org/get-involved/sign-up-to-volunteer/ • Create your volunteer profile here! Note: When you click the box next to the phrase, “ I have read, understand

and accept the Liability/Medical waiver, you are signing the release waiver for the current year.

Next Steps: • After you create your volunteer profile, close out your internet browser. • You will receive a temporary password via the email you used in creating your profile.

• Use this temporary password to log in and create your preferred password with this link: http://nwmetroatlantahabitat.org/get-involved/upcomingvolunteer-opportunities/

• Scroll down and click “sign in” at the bottom of the events list to change your password.

Profile Completion • Congratulations! You have officially created your profile, confirmed your email address is valid and created your personal password. Next, you will see a demonstration on how to register for an event.

Registering for an Event • Now that you have made your profile, you may now register for events. • Log into your account using your email address and password with this link: http://nwmetroatlantahabitat.org/get-involved/upcoming-volunteer-opportunities/

• Once logged in, you will see a number of different options to choose from. Take some time to look through these options so you can familiarize yourself with the system.

• To register for an event, click “Register/Unregister for an Event”, which is located under the “Service Event Registration” tab.

Next Steps • Once you have clicked on “Register/Unregister for an Event”, you will see a new screen which will allow you to enter a reservation code (if needed) or to register for an event that does not need a reservation code, located under “Highlighted Opportunities”.

• If you have a reservation code, please enter it to find the build you are looking for. Once you have entered it in, you will be able to see the events that are linked to that code!

Next Steps • Next, click on the bubble next to the event that you wish to sign up for. Once you click the bubble, scroll down and click on the green highlighted box that will either say “choose time slot(s) and register for selected event” or “register for selected event”- this will depend on whether or not multiple days are attached to this event!

Final Steps • If you are registering for a 1 day event, click on “register for selected event”. Once you have clicked the button, you are done! You will receive a confirmation email with further information pertaining to the event, as well as info on how to cancel for your event.

• If you are registering for a multi-day event, click “choose time slot(s) and register for selected event”. You will then be prompted to choose the date and time you prefer. Once you have selected the preferred time and date, click “complete registration”. You are now finished and will receive a confirmation email with more info pertaining to the build, as well as info on how to cancel for your event!
