Volunteer Teacher Programme Coordinator (Thailand) Tasks While travelling in Thailand (Chiang Mai, Tak, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Song) for field work (60%) Take full responsibility for the implementation of our “Volunteer Teacher Programme” Coordinate the selection of volunteer teachers with our partners Liase with our partner schools about volunteer placements Coordinate and lead volunteer training before assignment Coach volunteer teachers during the assignment Conduct visits to the partner schools and collect and provide feedback to volunteers and schools Coordinate and lead lessons learned workshop after the assignment Monitor and evaluate the programme Programme and financial planning: establishing cost estimates, time frames, liaising with stakeholers Maintain network among likeminded organizations While staying in our office in Chiang Mai for administration work (40%) Write progress reports and updates in English and Thai Oversee budget expenditure, activities and outputs Handle project/programme receipts and provide support to accoutning Plan and prepare trips Various administration tasks as required Required Qualifications minimum BA/BSc degree Thai national at least 1-3 years working experience Background or experience in basic education solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet skills) proficiency in Thai language and good English language skills likes to work with children and likes to travel (occasionally on weekends) flexible, creative, out-going, independent personality with good interpersonal, communication and networking skills motivation to work for an NGO driver’s licence, must be able to drive cars with manual transmission

This position offers a salary range from THB 15,000 to THB 21,000 per month depending on the candidate’s profile. We offer a dynamic work environment with the following working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 17.00.
