Warren L. Frazer began his accounting career in the private sector. After success in that field, he decided to enter public accounting and was employed by Ernst & Ernst, one of the largest accounting firms at that time. Warren's passion was in providing accounting services on a level that was far more personal than a large firm could provide. He began his own firm, Warren L. Frazer, CPA, in North Brunswick, NJ, in 1972. In 1977, when consistent growth fueled the need for a larger space, the firm relocated to Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ, where it continues to operate as one of the firm's current two locations. Warren received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in 1960 and an MBA degree from New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration in 1969. While at New York University he wrote his thesis entitled “Valuing Stock of Closely Held Corporations.” During the early 1980s, the firm changed its name to Frazer and Company. Warren joined the National Association of Valuation Analysts and became a Certified Valuation Analyst in 1996. Warren is a retired member of the AlCPA, NJSCPA and of NACVA. He served on the boards of various community organizations and was an active member of the community and profession throughout the years. Marylee R. Evangelista was hired by Frazer & Company in October 1984 after graduating earlier that year with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey (formerly known as Trenton State College). Marylee became a partner of the firm in 1994. She joined the National Association of Valuation Analysts in 1996 and became a Certified Valuation Analyst in 1997. In 1999 the firm changed its name to Frazer, Evangelista & Company. Marylee is a member of the AlCPA, NJSCPA and NACVA. She has testified in court as a professional witness. Marylee served as the first female President of the Kiwanis Club of New Brunswick, NJ in the early 1990s and has been involved in other community organizations as well. Ralph J. Evangelista's career has spanned more than 28 years and has included working in a top law firm and in medium sized public accounting firms in NJ. In 1991, Ralph went out on his own. He formed the firm that eventually developed into Evangelista and Associates PC. Ralph grew this firm from a sole practitioner into a successful mid-sized firm. Ralph earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1984 and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University in 1998. In January 2009, Evangelista & Associates, PC merged with Frazer, Evangelista & Company LLC and continues to operate under the latter name.
A public speaker and discussion moderator, Ralph has testified on state tax issues before the New Jersey Assembly Oversight Committee and the Senate and Assembly Joint Legislative Committee. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Practical Accountant magazine. Ralph and his firm were subjects of a feature article in the Journal of Accountancy. He has written for the Monmouth University MBA newsletter and has written articles for the Star Ledger. In addition, Ralph teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Forensic Accounting at Monmouth University and is an Accounting Advisory Board Member at Seton Hall University. Ralph is a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Taxation Committee of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, and former Trustee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
