visualade is currently seeking a talented individual who is passionate about all things design. If you’re someone who is constantly in pursuit of creative innovation, someone who finds inspiration from inanimate objects, someone who once created their own font because they couldn’t find the perfect lower case ‘a’ in other fonts, then it’s possible that you’re qualified to be visualade’s next Interactive Designer. The ideal candidate must have an insatiable desire to produce high-end designs and concepts while being able to effectively problem-solve and communicate direction and purpose with other team members. Potential candidates must have 3+ years of experience with design, a strong design aesthetic, a unique understanding of typography and expertise with all Adobe Creative Suite applications. Strict attention to detail and a solid understanding of branding and color theory are additional prerequisites. Additionally, should the candidate possess a small arsenal of web development proficiencies, please feel free to boast of your skillz in this department when compiling your submission. The candidate will collaborate closely with other Designers as well as Project Managers, Web Developers and the all-important Client to produce solutions for web, print or other digital medium. The candidate will occasionally manage junior designers as well as photographers, interns and production artists to see concepts through to completion. Various project specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: + Art direction and design for interactive websites for a variety of clients from fashion, art, furniture, design and media + Art direction and design of online storefronts and full e-commerce solutions + Art direction and design for magazine and various print projects + Art direction and design for full brand and identity creation- or re-branding + Art direction and design for user interface of applications, widgets, etc.
