JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a full time web design intern who has excellent typographic and creative skills and wants to work hard and grow professionally as part of the founding team of a new start-up. The aesthetic will be European, high-fashion & luxury but applied to business. Think Business of Fashion for layouts, Garance Doré on photography and fashion illustration, Fabien Baron/Baron & Baron on typography, Lloyd&Co... The ideal candidate has strong interest in anything digital and technological and knows how to design for desktop and mobile (responsive). They are also able to understand the inner workings of a website, to apply them to their design, and to communicate with the front-end programmer easily. Requirements: • Must have ample experience working independently on graphics for both web, and offline mediums. • Experience with Wordpress and Responsive Design ideal • Be a proactive problem solver and enjoy the ability to tackle a varied and broad set of projects. • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator • Notions of HTML and/or CSS are beneficial • Highly organized and responsible, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
