 First go to https://listassistant.iprint.visionps.com/login/  Go to Activate Account (if you have an account, simply enter your username and password).  Enter your recent Order Number. If you don’t know your Recent Order Number, refer to What is my recent Order Number?

 Your recent order number is the number given to you at the time of your purchase…for eDeals the number would start with “EE”.

 Yes. Roll over the Settings tab, click View User Account.  Find the username and click Edit User.

 Yes, click Add User Account tab and create the new user.

 Roll over Mailing List and click Import eDeals List.

 For eDeals, this is the only way to add emails to your contact list. Please do not import your list anywhere else, including the Mailing List. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

 No, you will have to place your list in two different places, Import eDeals List and Mailing List (View Current List and Create New List).  Please note that even if you can’t view the fields, such as contact or street address, the information is in the database and can be exported at any time. Click on “Export Contacts” and you will be able to download your list to your local computer.

 There are two ways to add contacts to your list... Create New Contact or Import Email List.  Create New Contact is to be used when you only want to add a single email at a time. 

Import Email List is used when you have a spreadsheet of multiple emails that you want to add at one time. list

 If you have just added your contacts to an empty list, you should see those contacts available as soon as you click View My Lists.  If you are adding to an already active list, you can take the following steps:  Search one of your contacts by email address. You should see the contact below the search box after you click the search button.

 You can also look at your results (on the right) and then click the drop down to see the entire results per page. You will now be able to see the rest of your contacts you added.

 If you have any problems uploading your list, please click the Help button or email us at [email protected].

 List Assistant runs a nightly feed to our email database Monday through Friday. If you add to them during this time frame, your list will be ready the next day. Please note: Make sure your contacts have the correct format to ensure that they will be added. If the format is incorrect, it will not be added. Example: [email protected].

 Search for the email in your list.  Please click the Remove Button  Next a pop up will appear as seen below.

 Your contact is now removed from your list and will not be emailed again. If the contact wants to be re added to your program, you will have to re import the information into your list again.  Note: A “Delete” is not the same as an unsubscribe. If you load a “deleted” contact into List Assistant in the future, they will be re-added to the list.

 Yes. For each contact, you are now able to set which email your customers will receive. For example, if you want one customer to receive a Tech email and another to receive Jan San, follow these steps:  Search for the email.

 Uncheck the emails that you don’t want your contact to receive.

 Your subscribers can opt out or edit their subscriptions within the Manage Profile & Subscriptions link at the bottom of each email.



At the time of import, you can choose to segment your list. Start by clicking the “Import Contact” button. Follow the wizard and map your contact’s list to the correct headers in Step 3. See below



Go to Assign Electronic Programs. Upon importing a list, you choose what program the entire list being imported will be opted-in for. See below. To do this uncheck and check boxes next to the programs. For example, if you only

want them to get “Breakroom Savings” and nothing else, uncheck every program except “Breakroom Savings”. Your list is now segmented. Later, you can then search for that list by using the filter search. (Refer “Where is the list I just uploaded?”)

 First, make sure that the contact is in the correct format within List Assistant (example: [email protected]).  If your contact is in the correct format and you have added it through List Assistant, please remember that it takes a full day to be added to our email system.  Please sign into your Exact Target Account and search for the email that has not received the information. You can then look at the properties to see what the status of the email is. If you do not have your username and password for ExactTarget, please contact [email protected]. Follow these additional steps to make sure your emails are received:  Make sure that your contact has added your return email to their safe sender list. This way their email provider will know that the contact is received.  You can reach out to your customer to request to add your reply email to their Email Whitelist. An Email Whitelist is a list of contacts that the user deems

acceptable to receive email from and should not be sent to trash folder or spam filters. You can also ask your customers to add your IP Address to their whitelist.  Please note: Although we control the content of the email, we do not control if the contact will be able to receive the email.

 Yes you can. Under Import eDeals List, there is an area called Allow External Contacts Additions. If the area is pink, the functionality has not been turned on.

 Click Yes, show external functionality to activate the feature. Now the area color has changed to sky blue. You can always turn this off by clicking the same button.



A link now will appear called Example Pop Up. If you click the link you will now see a form where your customers will be able to enter their information and it can be stored in your List Assistant Account. You can add this to your website or as a link in your personal email



You can also customize the appearance of your form by clicking on Customize Your Form & Get the Code.

 We also offer customized buttons specific to eDeals sign up. For your convenience we have provided a link to them to use freely throughout your website. Click the image to download.

 Please note if you turn off the functionality your link will not work anymore. If you have any questions or run into any errors, please email [email protected].

 At this time, that functionality does not exist within List Assistant. However, if you log in to your ExactTarget account, you will be able to view your tracking as well as any other data you desire.

 First go to https://members.exacttarget.com/Login.aspx  Enter the requested Username and Password. You can opt for your browser to store your username by clicking the box next to Remember Username

 Next you will have to enter a security code that will be sent to that specific email address. If you have the code already, please enter it. Example below:

 Copy the code from your email and press Submit. You should have access to your account now. If you have any questions on this, please email [email protected].

 The email service provider we use is Exact Target. This system gives each email a status based on sends. If an email has a successful deployment to a contact, it will receive a status of Active. If a problem occurs with the email during the send process, it can become Bounced or Held. Bounced contacts are emails that are returned back to the system. This type of status will last up to 5 tries or sends. Once the system concludes that the email cannot be sent, it gives the contact the status of Held. Held emails have been locked from being sent, due to the system not being able to send successfully at any time. This status is considered permanent and can’t be overturned. 

If the email subscriber opts out, it will be given the status of Unsubscribed. This status cannot be overturned unless given permission by the contact and the dealer. Once we have authorization, we then can make the change.

 You can sign into ExactTarget account to search the contact or export your entire list. From there you will be able to see what the status of each contact is. If you do not have your log in/password, please email [email protected].

 Click the Subscriber tab within your account.

 Once this is clicked you should see a pane to the left of the screen. Under my subscribers click All Subscribers

 Your total list of subscribers is now visible to the right of the screen. These are all the contacts attributed to your individual account. In the top menu above your list, click Export. You can also click Search if you would like to see a specific email or domain.

 A pop up window will now appear with a step-by-step wizard to guide you through the process of pulling your list down.

 Follow these steps to pull your information down. Make sure you add a valid email address to have the file sent to. In On Your Behalf accounts, dealers have no access to the FTP so you will have to have it delivered to your email address  You can add all the attributes you need for your list, such as Status, Email Address, etc. Once you have done this your file will be emailed to the specified address.  Please note: If you have any questions on your list or if you do not have your log in/password, please email [email protected].

 Simply click on the Tracking tab.

 Now you will able to view all the emails that have been sent through your account. If you want to know how your email is doing, simply click the one you are interested in.

 Regular eDeals are sent on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Independent Stationers eDeals are sent on Mondays and Wednesdays.

 No, that functionality does not exist. However, if you have any questions regarding the content, please refer to the current month’s price plan.

 Yes, let us know what new email you would like and we will update your attribute in our database.  Please allow us one business day to adjust this information for you. This will ensure that your information will be adjusted in time for the next email send.

Your account manager should advise you on what programs you are signed up for. The emails that you will receive are located underneath the search elements in the Email List section - example below:

 No, the prices cannot be changed. The prices are predetermined by the Price Plan.

 No, however one of our dealers has discovered a way to leverage the skew in every eDeals link to redirect the customers to his specific product page. The eDeals Redirect code was found when we added an anchor tag onto every product image in the email. Using that tag you may be able to access your search query. There are two factors needed in order to use this functionality.  Place the code tag on your home page. Your web developer can help you with the process.
