Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are released in a 32-bit and a 64-bit version. KBC Corporates Portal can be accessed using a Windows 64-bit version but you will need to: - run Internet Explorer in 32-bit mode, instead of 64-bit mode. Each Windows 64-bit machine has an Internet Explorer 32-bit version and an IE 64-bit version:
- run a Java 32-bit version, if you are using one of our applications that require Java software. Visit Java Software Archive for an elaborate list of versions Reasons for these requirements: - KBC security software is not yet compatible with Internet Explorer 64-bit - signing transactions in the application W1se is not possible with a Java 64-bit version (a solution to this problem has to be offered by Java: in their native libraries they have to implement 64-bit versions of the Java Sun MSCAPI API (a conduit between the Java environment and the native cryptographic services on Windows). This will be made available in a Java update (version or release date unknown)).
