Vivat Bacchus charity drive with Kaapzicht Wine Estate
Vivat Bacchus Chenin Blanc 2016 Fruity, versatile and delicious.
Bottle: £26.50 / 175ml: £6.75 We are excited to announce our liaison with Kaapzicht to support its involvement with the wonderful charity, the Pebbles Project. Kaapzicht estate is a family-run winery and the talented winemaker, Danie Steytler Jnr (4th generation) is well known for producing award winning Chenins and Pinotage wines. He makes our very own Vivat Bacchus Chenin Blanc which we launched with great success in 2015. We have added a fabulous fruit dominant Vivat Bacchus Red Blend to the collection now which is also racing out of our cellars.
We will donate 50 pence from the sale of every bottle of these and any other Kaapzicht wine (have you tried the Pinotage?) to the Pebbles Project, which works with children and families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape, South Africa. For more info go to: www.pebblesproject.co.za

Does size matter?
Well ladies and gents, the answer is yes. Wine experts agree that wine from large bottles lasts longer and tastes better than when matured in regular sized bottles. A larger bottle maintains overall consistency of the wine and slows the ageing process. It allows the flavours to fully develop, intermingle and become more homogeneous. And for a group celebration or special occasion, you can’t beat sharing a big bottle!
