WIP Com 3D / Connect Com 3D 0. Prerequisites 1. A vehicle equipped with a WIP Com 3D navigation system 2. Access to website http://peugeot.navigation.com 3. Automatic installation using the Install Wizard requires a Mac or a PC, administrator access to install Adobe Flash and Adobe Air (see the configuration required)
4. A PDF viewer is required to view the installation manual (included with the operating system or standalone).
5. A USB flash drive (empty and formatted as FAT32/MBR) in order to transfer Peugeot Alert Zone files to the vehicle’s WIP Com 3D navigation system

Procedure to buy, download and automatically install Peugeot Alert Zone files onto the USB flash drive (RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE) An alternative procedure is available for advanced users, see the appendix How to buy a Peugeot Alert Zone file from website http://peugeot.navigation.com
1. Browse to website http://peugeot.navigation.com/ 2. Choose your vehicle using the selector
3. Add a Peugeot Alert Zone product, identified by the following icon, to your basket
4. Finalise your purchase by following the instructions
5. On the purchase confirmation page, click on “Download installation wizard”, a pop-up window will open.
Important: if you have already installed and used the Peugeot Alert Zone wizard, proceed directly to step 11

6. In the pop-up window, click “Install now” 7. The Flash badge below will be displayed:
If the above badge is not displayed, this means that the Adobe Flash software is not installed on your computer or that the installed version is too old. Please click on the link displayed and follow the instructions. You will need to restart your browser.
8. Click on “Install Now” 9. You must install Adobe Air software. Click “Yes” on the next screen:
10. You must install the Peugeot Alert Zone wizard on your computer. Click “Install” on the next screen, then continue through successive screens, and finally “I agree”

13. The wizard will launch, follow the instructions on screen to download and automatically install the Peugeot Alert Zone files onto your USB flash drive

Plug the USB flash drive into the navigation system
Browse to the "Navigation” menu
Select “Settings"

Select line: “Update personal POI"
Select the USB flash drive you have used to copy the Peugeot Alert Zone files and that you have plugged into your navigation system

Confirm the update by clicking “Yes”
The update takes place automatically in under 5 seconds
Once the update has been carried out, a message asks you to confirm that the navigation system will restart:
1. First remove the USB flash drive
2. Then click “OK" The navigation system will restart

Configuration of audible and visual alerts of highrisk areas is located in menu: "Navigation"
“Settings" “Set parameters for risk areas”
An information message appears: Click OK after you have read it.

We recommend the following configuration:
Activate display on the map
Activate a visual warning on approach
Activate an audible warning on approach
With this configuration, you benefit from the following features:
Audible advance warning followed by audible warning (beep) when approaching a high-risk area
Visual warning: the navigation system screen displays the distance and the associated Peugeot Alert Zone
These are the Peugeot Alert Zone pictograms: Fixed speed camera*:
pictogram. The permitted speed limit is also displayed in the event of fixed speed cameras. *
Traffic light camera*:
The visual warning is only displayed on approach to the high-risk area.
Entering a high-risk area*:
* Depending on the country’s legislation, information about fixed speed cameras and traffic light cameras may be prohibited; if this is the case, then only information about high-risk areas will be displayed.

On the purchase confirmation page, click on the link to download the file manually 2. Plug the USB flash drive into your computer 3. Unzip the contents to the root folder of the USB flash drive, overwriting any existing Peugeot Alert Zone files
4. The root folder of the USB flash drive must contain the following files: - pkgdb (with subfolders) - config.nfm Carry out the update with your engine running
