Preliminary Program CONFERENCE / WORKSHOP Teacher Efficacy and Inclusive Education 26 and 27 April 2018, University of Wuppertal, Germany
Registration still open Teacher efficacy is a determining factor in inclusive education, i.e. the successful accommodation of an increasingly heterogeneous student population. Teachers may feel more or less prepared and willing to adapt their teaching practices to accommodate students with a variety of educational, behavioural, and/or linguistic profiles, which could in turn affect students´ achievement. The importance of efficacy beliefs for the success of inclusive education is reflected in a growing body of empirical research, focusing on differences between regular and special needs teachers, as well as associations between perceived efficacy and teaching behaviour (e.g. referral pattern, teacher-student interaction) and student achievement.
This conference/workshop aims to bring researchers together who are actively involved in efficacy research to share their knowledge and experience, to explore collaborative opportunities and create new ideas for future research. Researchers are still welcome to register and submit a Poster (deadline 01.03.2018)
