Abstract In this article the results of studies of innovative materials in the field of the processes of occurrence of compliance the bolt assemblies of metal structures are presented. The main attention is focused to the shear forces in the bolt, creating a bending moment on the beam supports. Analyzing that can reveal patterns of behavior of the connection depending on the load and the number of bolts. Accounting compliance units can reduce the number of materials used. Thus, the main objective of this research was a more detailed study of compliance in the design process in order to apply the acquired knowledge into practice. 2016Published The Authors. 1. Introduction The work of node connections affects both the reliability of the node and the adjacent elements (bar, column), changing their bearing capacity. Also, the important role of nodal conditions is presented in the calculation of the total circuit construction. For example, the calculated lines of the vertical elements are directly dependent on their

boundary conditions [1, 2]. There are two choices of boundary conditions which are available for the user: absolutely rigid joints and a hinge joint. According to the practice of the design, such conditions which are imposed on the structure, lead to quite true results. It is connected to all kinds of safety margins which are used when assigning material loads and other operating conditions [3]. The aim of the research is to study the actual work of metal constructions sites, considering the compliance of the joints, the effects of stiffness characteristics of nodes on each structural element and durability of structures in general. Taking into account the stiffness characteristics of the compounds, and a detailed calculation of structure components, it is possible to improve the reliability of the construction, use fewer assumptions, as well as to reduce the amount of used materials, regulating the excessive stocks of structural constructions [4, 5]. A prerequisite for this is the fact that the hinge joints are not fully articulated and rigid absolutely not pinched. Consequently, in conjunction with beam column, redistribution of torque takes place, which leads to the change in the calculation scheme. The compliance of joints is not considered in Russian normative documents. The exception is a series of documents of 1988, which broadly describes the true behavior of nodes based on compliance, as well as the individual studies [6-9]. In European practice, the term semi-rigid joints are shown as in a basic normative document [2] as in numerous studies, made in an attempt to describe the stiffness characteristics of the compound [10-23]. However, most investigations which are aimed to study the theoretically stiffness don’t put forward the new approaches to the calculation, there are no clear conditions for application of the parameter node rigidity of the design, which allows to make a conclusion about the relevance of the study of the problem. Yielding compound of metal structures depends on many factors, rang from the plastic properties of the material and ending of mobility of the bolts in the hole. This article was reviewed on the influence on ductility of the number of bolts in the compound, as well as the distribution of forces in them. Practice shows that the nodes which are taken as hinges, in reality take certain stiff
