Requires live internet access to install and to register (there is no offline registration process). Ping register.ncomputing.com” or 85.214.42.113 to verify that the registration server is available through the local network. 2.6.24 kernels built for Ubuntu 8.04 are supported, including (but not limited to) 2.6.24-23-generic and 2.6.24-24-generic In addition to the previous Gnome support, support for KDE desktop 3.5 is added to this release (note that KDE 4 is not yet supported) Various minor bug fixes are included To used audio functions, each new user that’s created must be added to the audio group (see the user guide) The Linux vSpace admin console is still under development and does not currently implement all features contained in the existing Windows vSpace console Please read the supplement for Ubuntu 8_04 X350 and X550 User Guide for more info
