About the Author: “Bloom where you are planted “,with this vision, the author is contended to serve the people of God, especially the marginalized and voiceless people, is in this field for the last 28 years. He is a graduate from Nagpur University and a post graduate from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi. He has a degree in Bachelor of Education from Mumbai University with additional qualification of Philosophy and Theology. While carrying out the field study, he was moved by the pathetic condition of the respondents, who simply repose their faith in him as one who could be sensitive to their conditions. Hence he could bring out some practical economic measures such as “Ashtapath” and advocated SHG‟s mediation as powerful means to empower the powerless.
