[email protected] Abstract The study was conducted in a large-sized company car insurance. The objective was to establish a measure of e ectiveness for professionals in the operational level of loss adjustment. This measure was formed from the aggregation of four criteria: cost, e ciency, productivity and professionalism. Among the numerous multicriteria methods of decision support, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used, which, as a compensatory method, is aligned with the organizational culture of the company. This encourages to meritocracy and avoids distortions in the aggregation of criteria, making all company employees concentrate their e orts in one direction and in the right direction.
