Special Issue Call for Papers: Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Computing

Paper Submission Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality, original work that has neither appeared in, nor is under consideration by, other journals.

Guest Editors:

Springer offers authors, editors and reviewers of World Wide Web Journal a web-enabled online manuscript submission and review system. Our online system offers authors the ability to track the review process of their manuscript.

In recent years, Artificial Intelligence for Big Data Computing and smart computing have drawn much attention and interest in many disciplines including computer science, information technology, and social sciences. The challenges include capture, curation, storage, search, sharing, transfer, analysis and visualization. The trend toward larger data sets is due to the additional information derivable from analysis of a single large set of related data, as compared to separate smaller sets with the same total amount of data, allowing correlations to be found to spot business trends, prevent diseases, combat crime and so on.

Manuscripts should be submitted to: http://WWWJ.edmgr.com under the article type “Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Computing” This online system offers easy and straightforward log-in and submission procedures, and supports a wide range of submission file formats.

Scientists regularly encounter limitations due to large data sets in many areas, including meteorology, genomics, connectomics, complex physics simulations, and biological and environmental research. The limitations also affect Internet search, finance and business informatics. Data sets grow in size in part because they are increasingly being gathered by ubiquitous information-sensing mobile devices, aerial sensory technologies, software logs, cameras, microphones, radio-frequency identification readers, and wireless sensor networks. The world's technological per-capita capacity to store information has roughly doubled every 40 months since the 1980s; as of 2012, every day 2.5 exabytes of data were created. The challenge for large enterprises is determining who should own big data initiatives that straddle the entire organization.

There has been research issues and conferences for the Big Data and Smart Computing that can provide the an international forum for exchanging ideas and information on current issues, challenges, research results, system developments, and practical experiences in these emerging fields. IEEE BigComp 2019 invites authors to submit original research papers and new work-in-progress reports in any aspect of big data and smart computing. Related website: http://www.bigcomputing.org/ Springer World Wide Web Journal solicits papers presenting original research for a Special Issue titled Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Computing. The goal of this special issue is to bring together current development, ideas, and applications of Artificial Intelligence, especially as it is being transformed by big data. Manuscripts are solicited to address a wide range of topics in Network Science for Big Data, including but not limited to the following: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
