CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators – Turning Average earnings £800-900 per week £15 per hour plus shift allowance & overtime rate Generous travel allowance Due to continued success with new clients, we are now looking to recruit additional high calibre, skilled machinists to our team. Applicants for these positions must be able to demonstrate the following skills & attributes;   

Understanding of CNC Programming using Mazatrol conversational programming. Familiar with the selection of correct turning inserts and grades for a range of materials & applications Experienced in cutting a wide range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Inconel, Titanium, Duplex and Engineering Plastics. Ability to set a variety of Mazak machines. Easily Interpret drawings in metric and imperial sizes Understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances & surface finish requirements Able to use all precision measuring equipment Have a can do attitude and work well with others in a team environment Work under own initiative to achieve deadlines and quality requirements Willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirements Able to work flexible shifts when required (including night shift) Flexible approach – willing to learn new machining processes and skills Have an ability to train others or pass on knowledge Experienced in Oil & Gas Threads & Blunt starts, working up to 16” diameter Mazak 3 & 4 axis turning
