COMPANY MANAGER VACANCY OVERVIEW 

Full time position



£23,400 per year salary (before tax), reviewed annually

Typical office hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday



Be involved in all day-to-day aspects of Titanium Tutors



Manage a team of Admin Assistants



Report directly to our Founding Director



No previous experience necessary: ideal for a recent graudate



All figures are gross, and do not take into account income tax or NI.



3 month probation period



Starting 1 August 2017 (there will be 1 month of training with the existing Company Manager, who leaves on 31 August).

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION •

Liaising with clients (including taking their tuition enquiries by phone; understanding their tuition requirements; finding them suitable and available tutors on our books; talking them through those tutors and making sales; touching base with them regularly to check tuition is going well; dealing with any financial or administrative queries they may have, etc.)



Liaising with tutors (including requesting and processing their ID, qualification certificates, references and DBS checks; discussing potential new jobs with them; discussing their existing work with our clients/tutees and making recommendations for lesson improvement where appropriate; dealing with any financial or administrative queries they may have, etc.)



Liaising with applicants for admin/tutor positions (including answering their queries about Titanium Tutors and the specific job requirements; reading through their CVs and applications; consulting with the Founding Director about their suitability for the role; arranging interviews, including liaising with the interview assessors)



Looking after all financial aspects of the company (including sending invoices to clients, making payments to tutors/suppliers, confirming receipt of payments from clients, chasing up late payments from clients, answering financial queries from tutors/clients/suppliers, etc.)



Marketing and promoting Titanium Tutors (including reaching out to prospective clients, prospective tutors and prospective staff members; managing Titanium Tutors’ social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc.); finding relevant websites for posting information about Titanium Tutors; assisting with the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, fliers, videos, etc.)



Devising and implementing new ideas and procedures for the more efficient running of the company.



Reporting technical faults to our website development team, and occasionally liaising with them about functionality improvements/enhancements, or new functionality.



Keeping the office clean, safe and tidy. Liaising with the landlord (or his agents) about any problems or requests related to the office.

Candidates taken forward to the next stage will be invited for a 3 hour practical interview in the office, and will complete a range of typical Admin Team tasks. This is unpaid, but tube/bus expenses up to a maximum of £8.00 will be reimbursed if you don’t have a travel card.
