Computer Aided Design Level 2 Award in 2D Computer Aided Design 

Using AutoCAD, this course covers the principles and practice of 2D Computer Aided Design. Starting from the very basics, the course develops the essentials required for everyday use of the software. Using hands-on exercises clients explore how to create and present 2D drawings.

Level 3 Award in 2D Computer Aided Design 

Using AutoCAD, this course covers the application and modification of 2D Computer Aided Design. Using a problem solving approach, the course continues to build on basic concepts to create more detailed plans and drawings including isometric, mechanical and construction drawings.

Level 3 Award in 3D Computer Aided Design 

Using AutoCAD, this course develops the ability to create and modify 3D objects. Using practical exercises, clients explore the fundamental concepts and techniques used in surface and solid modelling.

Average course length is 14 Weeks Garden Design Course: Using a mix of AutoCAD and Sketchup, this course shows how to create basic landscape and planting plans. From an initial small domestic garden, the clients skills are developed to construct a much larger development.

Kitchen Design Course: Using a mix of AutoCAD, Homestyle and Fusion, this course provides a practical experience from basic initial designs through to giving practice in editing and finalising customer requirements.

All AutoCAD courses are accredited by City and Guilds. The two design courses will receive an in– house certificate. Depending on ability level, aptitude and work pace, it may be possible to train in more than one element of the course.
