Menu Bar - located on the top of the screen (Home, Insert, Design, Animations, Slide Show, Review, and View) Ribbon - the tools located underneath the Menu Bar which allow the user to format a presentation Office Button - located at the top left hand corner of the screen (Windows logo); this is where the Open, Save, and Print commands are found Shapes - allows you to insert a shape into your document; located on the Insert section of the Menu Bar Rotating tool - allows you to rotate the degree of a shape (green circle) Resizing Point - allows you resize an object; represented by blue squares and circles Shape Outline - allows you to place a border color on a shape; located on the Format section of the Menu Bar Shape Fill - allows you to color in shapes; located on the Format section of the Menu Bar Text Wrapping - after selecting the shape, text or image, click on Format on the Menu Bar and select Text Wrapping (i.e. "In Front of Text"); it changes the way the text wraps around an object WordArt - allows you to insert WordArt into your document; located on the Insert section of the Menu Bar Text Box - allows you create a text box Table - allows you to insert a table (Insert on the Menu bar) Holding CTRL and dragging a shape - allows you to make quick multiple copies Cell - the intersection of a row and column

Go to Start, Programs and select Microsoft Office Word 2007 Hold CTRL and press S on your keyboard; When the Save As dialog box appears, type in your File Name and select the folder where you want to save your file; Finally Click Save; Save often Click on Insert on the Menu Bar and click on Table Select and click how many rows and columns needed (3 Columns, 5 Rows) Click and hold on the bottom right resizing point and drag the table about 3/4 of the way down Type in the headings (Computer Part, Function and Picture) Type the computer parts and definitions Hold CTRL and press A on your keyboard; Choose a new font face, font size and font color (Example: Arial, 18, Blue) Click on any empty space (cell) in your table Click and hold with your mouse and select your table (ONLY the inside of the table); Click on a new shading color Click and place the cursor before the first letter and word from the first cell; Press Enter on your keyboard three times Click on Insert on the Menu Bar; Click on WordArt from the Ribbon; Click on the first choice; Type your title; Click OK Click on Format (WordArt Tools) on the Menu Bar; Select and click on Text Wrapping and then In Front of Text Click and hold the title and move it towards the top center of the page Type in your information (i.e., computer part names and their function) Some pictures you will be able to locate with Clip Art, which is located on the Insert Menu under the Illustrations section of the Ribbon Once Clip Art has been selected, type in your search word and click Go; Click on the picture you want With picture selected, click on Format (WordArt Tools) on the Menu Bar; Select and click on Text Wrapping and then In Front of Text Click and hold on the bottom right resizing point and adjust the size of the picture Click and hold the picture and move it towards the corresponding cell in the row that has that computer part For pictures located on the Internet, such as using Google Images, I will guide you in the process with a video
