The available Vortec 5.3L V8 FlexFuel engine operates on either regular unleaded gasoline, E85 (a blend of ethanol and gasoline) or any combination of both. Because it is made from primarily organic, domestic resources, E85 can help reduce our dependence on petroleum. * Extended chassis vans come with the 6.0L engine and are NOT FlexFuel compatible.
