Abh., 215: 1 - 1 5 ; Stuttgart. Abstract: The Early Cretaceous Spanish fossil locality of Montsec has till now yielded several specimens of the scincomorph lizard genus Meyasaurus, but no other lizard taxa. We describe here the skeleton of a small lizard which is quite distinct from Meyasaurus in its skull, dentition and postcranial proportions, and shows a greater resemblance to the Late Jurassic Solnhofen lizard Eichstaettisaurus. Zusammenfassung: Nachdem aus der Fossillagerstatte Montsec bisher als einzige Lacertilier einige Exemplare des Scincomorphen Meyasaurus bekannt waren, wird nun das Skelett einer kleinen, unbenannten Eidechse vorgestellt, die Ahnl ichkeit mit Eichstaettisaurus aus den Oberj ura-Plattenkalken von Solnhofen hat.
