FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHERE IS THE POSITION BASED? You will be based out of Bogota, Colombia for the first four to six months for training and connecting with the rest of the team. Ultimately (expected in late-2015), you would be working on projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and spending a substantial portion of your time there, eventually moving there permanently to help pioneer Instiglio’s office in the region. WHY IS A BOGOTA-BASED ORGANIZATION FOCUSING ON AFRICA? We operate as a global entity with offices and staff in Bogota, Colombia; Santiago, Chile; and, soon, Sub-Saharan Africa. As the results movement in development gains more traction, there are an increasing amount of funders and service providers located in sub-Saharan Africa that are looking to tie funding to results. Given our experience structuring these types of engagements in developing countries, we are uniquely qualified to help stimulate and build this market. WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION? The gross salary range for the Africa Regional Manager position is COP 108,097,500 – 123,540,000 (USD 42,000 – 48,000). This salary allows for a comfortable standard of living in Bogota.
