On arriving in Alnwick, follow signs for the town centre and turn right just before Bondgate Tower on to Greenwell Road. Follow the road along to Part D of the car park for the Coach drop off point. There a 3 All Day coach parking spaces here.
Things to Do Home to the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, Alnwick Castle is known for its links with Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. The Alnwick Garden (just next door) is a more recent addition to the town, but is no less impressive.

Alnwick itself is a thriving market town with culture galore. Museums, galleries, a Playhouse and a famous second-hand book shop give your clients plenty to do during a stop in the town, whatever the weather.

Public Toilets & Refreshments Public Toilets are situated on Greenwell Road and in the Shambles in the Market Place, next to the TIC. There are a large number of cafes, restaurants and pubs throughout the town centre with facilities for their customers.
Shopping Alnwick is made up of a lovely mix of independent shops and national chains. Enjoy some retail therapy while wandering the cobbled streets and stop for a coffee in one of the many cafes. There are also twice weekly markets held on Thursdays (Apr-Oct) and Saturdays and a Farmers’ Market on the last Friday of the month.
