Erasmus Mundus Contact Seminar in Bangkok, Thailand October 27-28, 2011

Registration open On October 27-28, 2011, an Erasmus Mundus contact seminar will take place in Bangkok, Thailand. The seminar will present the Erasmus Mundus programme, good practice examples from ongoing Erasmus Mundus projects and discuss common issues of higher education cooperation. The seminar will gather European and Thai (in limited numbers also Vietnamese / Singaporean / Malaysian) higher education representatives. The seminar will provide the opportunity for project presentation and partner search. Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Participants will have to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. A draft agenda of the seminar is available here.

ASEMUNDUS is a joint initiative, coordinated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and is implemented in cooperation with the National Structures for Erasmus Mundus from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Cyprus. Erasmus Mundus (2009-2013) is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third Countries. In addition, it contributes to the development of human resources and the international cooperation capacity of Higher education institutions in Third Countries by increasing mobility between the European Union and these countries.
