Join Us For Men Who Matter Most On April 19th Men Who Matter Most Breakfast On Friday, April 19th We hope all students and the men who matter most in their lives will be joining us for breakfast on Friday, April 19th from 7:00—9:00 .a.m. This is the day set aside when our PTO invites our students and their special guests for a breakfast in their honor. The PTO will be serving Dunkin Donuts, Dunkin Donuts coffee, juice, and water. This is always a great day each year as we host our students and their special guests. We hope you all can join us! Since this date of scheduling the breakfast, our K5, 1st and 2nd graders have been invited to Easley High School to see a special performance of “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.” We will need to load the buses for the trip to EHS at 8:15. So, if all K5, 1st, and 2nd graders and the special men in their lives can join us between 7:00—8:00 a.m., we will be able to arrive at EHS on time for this special performance for our K5—2nd graders. The breakfast will continue through 9:00 a.m., but we ask all K5—2nd graders and their special guests to join us between 7:00 a.m.— 8:00 a.m.

read to you at the cost of $1.00 per book. Just as our K5, 1st, and 2nd graders invited their parents and special guests for “Buck A Book,” our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders want to ask you to join them for their afternoon of reading. Our PTO will have tickets to purchase for $1.00 each. You’ll give one ticket to a student when they read a short book, chapter from a book, their writings or poems to you. All of the proceeds will go towards supporting literacy initiatives at the school. Our 3rd5th graders want to help just as our younger grades have already helped this year. Students will be in their classrooms for you to visit and for them to share a book with you. Hope to see you at school on Monday, April 22nd in our third, fourth and fifth grade homerooms. Come anytime between 1:30p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Parents, grandparents, guardians, and special guests are all invited to join us for our first Buck A Book for the upper grades.. Our 3rd- 5th graders are eager to read to you. Hope you can come! Inviting All Volunteers To A Dessert In Your Honor We depend on each of our wonderful volunteers at East End. As a small token of appreciation for all that you do, we have planned a Volunteer Dessert on June 3rd from 1:30—3:00 p.m. in the Donald H. Batson Media Center in your honor. We’ll have lots of delicious desserts, coffee, tea, and soft drinks to share with you. We’ll send out a message later for an RSVP, but wanted to give you this heads-up to this time in your honor. We appreciate our volunteers! We couldn’t do what we do without your help. Hope to see you at the Volunteer Appreciation Dessert on June 3rd.

Walk/Bike-A-Thon On Friday, April 19th from 6:00—8:00 p.m.—Registration Begins at 5:00 p.m. Hope to see you at this great event on Friday, 4/19! This will be a great way to support our local hospital with this community event. Hope you can come!
