Graphit Grannus St. Pr. St. Odessa Grisette Beach Boy Biene
Aloysia I
Origin: Banderas’s sire, Balou du Rouet is highly sought after as a breeding stallion, well known for producing type, elastic movers and offspring with prepotency for first class jumping ability. Through dam Grisette, Banderas combines some of the best bloodlines available. His dam-sire is the legendary Grannus, sire of multiple international and Olympic jumpers and over 60 licensed sons. Grisette’s dam-sire is the Elite international stallion Beach Boy. Performance Record: Banderas is the first approved son of the sensational European stallion Balou du Rouet, to stand in North America. He is a very modern athletic stallion with a lovely expression, clearly stamped in looks by his sire. Banderas has correct conformation, three very good athletic gaits and shows a huge amount of jumping potential. He jumps in classic form and shows a large amount of scope in addition to having a very good temperament. Banderas shows everything needed to be a top competition horse and also a top sire. He successfully completed his 70-day Stallion Test, at Silver Creek Farms finishing fourth overall. Highlights included Character 10, Willingness to work 9.5, Constitution 9, Free Jumping and Stadium Jumping 9. Banderas has had a successful first show season in 2011, we look forward to further success in 2013. Breeding/Progeny Record: Banderas's first foal crop arrived in 2010. We were thrilled with the very high quality of his foals and to hear the excellent feedback from happy breeders. In 2011, Banderas's second foal crop arrived and he continues to prove himself as an outstanding sire consistently producing high caliber foals. Banderas is clearly stamping his foals; they are reliably beautiful, athletic, leggy modern types with pretty heads, correct conformation, powerful elastic movement with very unique white markings. The Banderas foals are also proving to be very friendly, people oriented, easy to handle and train. Banderas has sired numerous top foals, Premium foals and Foals of Distinction. He is a very exciting young stallion that is already proving his ability as a sire. OLDENBURG HORSE BREEDER’S SOCIETY 2013 STALLION DIRECTORY
