MIKE HUNTER ATTORNEY GENERAL OF OKLAHOMA

Brad Edwards Consumer Champion Award Presented by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office Mike Hunter, Attorney General Brad Edwards was a 25-year consumer advocate, working for KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City as the host of the station’s “In Your Corner” segment. Brad passed away in 2006, but his spirit lives on in the thousands of Oklahomans who continue his work fighting for consumers. The Brad Edwards Consumer Champion Award honors not only Brad, but those who have followed in his footsteps. Each year, one Oklahoman is chosen as the recipient of this award, which seeks to honor those who make contributions, big and small, to Oklahoma consumers. This year, the recipient of this award will go to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary and voluntary consumer service in his or her community by taking action to protect or benefit Oklahoma senior citizens. Such action may include initiating or actively participating in consumer advocacy programs to protect against scams on senior citizens. ______________________________
