OBJECTIVE: Documentation of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) anomalies of hypothalamic-pituitary region in patients with Growth Hormone (GH) Deficiency and study its relationship with clinical, biochemical and hormonal parameters. DESIGN/METHODS: This prospective and retrospective study included 51 patients with 27 Isolated Growth Hormone Deficiency(IGHD) & 24 Multiple Pituitary Hormone Deficiency (MPHD).Morphological features of Anterior Pituitary, presence and location of Posterior Pituitary and completeness of pituitary stalk were studied and correlated with clinical, biochemical and hormonal parameters. RESULTS: The results of MRI findings were: incidence of anterior pituitary hypoplasia (APH) was 80% (74% IGHD vs 87% MPHD), ectopic/invisible posterior pituitary (EPP) was 33% (25% IGHD vs 41% MPHD), interrupted/invisible stalk was 30% (25% IGHD vs 33% MPHD), Classic triad (APH, EPP and interrupted stalk) was 20% (22% IGHD vs17% MPHD), Empty Sella was 25% (22% IGHD vs 29% MPHD) and normal Pituitary was 26% (22% IGHD vs 4% MPHD). MPHD patients showed lower mean sagittal (2.97 ± 1.08 Vs 1.82 ± 1.33, p
