Required product identification markings Most fittings need to be registered in accordance of Clause 4.2.2 to 4.2.11 of CSA B51-14 unless they are inspected as part of a boiler or pressure vessel.
*TUV Rheinland AIA Services is an accepted inspection agency authorized by a regulatory authority.
All piping fabrications or systems designs must be submitted to the provincial authority where it will be installed. Any piping fabrication outside of Canada must be inspected.

The provincial piping data report generated by the fabricator shall be signed by the authorized inspector.

Upon product design approval an unlimited number of piping systems may be fabricated. Any change or revision to the approved design may cause invalidation and must be resubmitted.
Submittal for provincial authority must include: Calculations and drawings ID of piping code NDE and PWHT Substance contained How it was tested Test pressure used The Quality Control System accepted by the authorized inspector shall identify at what points inspections are performed, such as: In-process inspections Fitting verification Measurement spot check NDE review PWHT Final pressure testing

Continued demonstration of compliance to quality control manual.
Flanges
Fittings must be resubmitted for registration every 10 years, have each category registered separately, and you must have proof that your quality control system has been accepted by a regulatory authority*.
