1. General Croatians Bureau of Statistic has been using PC-Axis as the strategic tool for data dissemination for four years now. All language files were translated to Croatian, and in addition Croatian maps for the levels country, municipality and settlement, were prepared. Furthermore, an application adding maps to PC-Axis was developed. From the beginning all the usage was completely file-based: ! Agricultural Census for the year 2003 on CD and web, ! Publishing of all the censuses data going back to 1857 on CD using PX-Make, PCAxis main module, PX-Edit, PX-Web, PX-Map and PX-iMap During 2003-2004, the PC-Axis SQL Macrometa-model was implemented for storing PCAxis specific metadata concerned with the macro data to be disseminated. At present time it is used for disseminating data from the 2002-2006 years Foreign Trade Studies, Retail Trade Survey, Tourism Survey and for Research and Development Statistics. Within the frame of the CBS-SCB/SIDA-project “Development of Integrated Statistical Information System (ISIS) at the Central Bureau of Statistic” for the purpose of creating PXfile, mainly in respect to data dissemination through the CBC web site, separate .NET assembly was developed. The PXFileMaker assembly was presented on the PC-Axis Reference-Group Meeting in Jurmala. Since the last meeting, further developing the CBS website concerning the public macrodata database, making it available for dynamic retrieval, was done.

3. Internal use of PC-Axis SQL Macro at CBS After the last meeting in Reykjavik, meta and micro data were prepared an added for Research and Development Statistics. The data was collecting through the three questioners and approximately 13 tables in each. Because of that the Final observation register for Research and Development Survey required special modeling and creating a complex data structure. PC-axis SQL was installed on another 4 computers from this department. At the first time statisticians used by them self the full functionality of PC-Axis SQL Macrometa for creating, analyzing and disseminating public data. Every year new meta and micro data for Foreign Trade survey are added to the system. At the present time Foreign Trade data is covered for the 2002-2006.
4. PC-Axis SQL .NET development In cooperation work with consultant from the Statistic Sweden, prototype of CBS website, based on dynamic retrieval of public macrometa database was finished during the April this year. Some new functionality is added and some bugs are fixed. Parts of components provided by the PC-Axis software are included in the web solution regarding the pivoting summing and exporting to other formats of the created table. The component for manipulating with the created table has been upgraded to use the version of PX-Web 2006 and adjusted to the web solution. The part of PC-Axis SQL that concerns footnotes has implemented on website as well.
5. Training courses In September 2006, a 2-day workshop of PC-Axis SQL Macrometa and PX-Map was conducted for the statisticians connected with the mentioned surveys above.
