THE DHL EXPRESS PROGRAM DHL Express offers our customers a two-day comprehensive program that covers all aspects of shipping dangerous goods internationally. The program condenses these regulations into an easy to understand seminar. This two-day seminar covers fundamentals and important terms associated with dangerous goods: identification, classification, packaging, marking, labeling and documentation in accordance with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) dangerous goods regulations. This program makes it convenient for your business to meet training mandates under law (49 CFR). This program covers a variety of topics that include but are not limited to: Applicability: Learn why dangerous goods regulations are necessary and to whom they apply Limitations: Verify if products have additional restrictions, especially States and Operators variations Classification: Identify substances or articles classified as dangerous goods Identification: Understand dangerous goods regulations on the IATA list and how to select shipping criteria Packaging Learn package terminology, requirements & Labeling: and how to mark and label packages Documentation: Learn how to accurately complete all required documentation Exceptions: Discover exceptions to the rules that may save transportation costs

PROGRAM AGENDA • Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. • The program begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. • Lunch will be served at noon • Each topic varies in length ranging from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours • Each module concludes by completing a brief 15-minute exercise • A final examination that covers all of the modules will be given on the second day • Breaks will be given throughout the day as needed
