First step go to the following link and download the objects you want, you can download more than 350 converted 3ds file to m3d. https://sites.google.com/site/ezzatbaroudi/dialux-evo-m3d-furniture-free-download Most of these files if not have been modified to have the following.  correct dimension to suit the standard unit in DIALux  have texture  The insertion point is made at the bottom of the objects to make it easy for handling. In brief the file is modified to be used right after downloading. You could simply drag the file into DIALux but if you want to include all the files to be part of DIALux objects and furniture catalogue then follow the steps bellow and then enjoy using a reach object and get a photo realistic rendering!

After downloding the files,Go to object tool and select objects catalouge Open it.

At the bottom of the catalouge click on import.

Click on add files

Select all the 3ds converted files to m3d and clikc on open.

Select the first file, while presing shift key scoll down and select the last file to have all the files selected then click on Assign button on the upprer right side.

On the lower left side click on import.

Go back to the catalogue and type in the search box the object name Select the object/objects and click on apply, the object will be placed near the standard object. You could see the uploaded files so far form the bellow snapshot
