Drinan, S.J., Chair in Human Rights at Georgetown Law and the Founder and Executive Director of Disability Rights International ā a leading nonprofit organization that conducts human rights investigations and advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities worldwide. With powerful footage from orphanages and psychiatric facilities around the world, this documentary describes how DRI contributed to the creation of a new field of international human rights advocacy. Eric Rosenthal will discuss the impact of the new UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and will be available for a question and answer session following the documentary.
