Drying kit for hearing aids

This hearing aid drying kit from Widex will help you keep your hearing aid in good condition. Moisture is a major cause of problems in hearing aids. Proper use of this kit will help avoid unnecessary repairs. Widex recommends that you put your hearing aid in the drying kit every time you go to sleep. For most people, one kit is enough for two hearing aids. If you perspire a lot, one kit for each hearing aid may be necessary. Please also refer to the hearing aid user’s instructions for advice on maintenance.

The drying kit consists of a plastic container and a roll of seven capsules with light-amber coloured drying granules. The light-amber coloured granules absorb moisture through the cardboard lid of the capsule. The granules turn white when they are saturated. If the capsules are not kept in a closed container, they will absorb moisture from the air and quickly become saturated. NB! Do not open the capsules. Do not put the capsule or granules into your mouth. Keep the capsules out of children’s reach.

Getting started The plastic container is equipped with a sealing ring. Remove the ring to open the container.

Put one capsule of drying granules into the container and close it.
