Adult fish (mean length 35.24±2.80 cm) were acclimatized to laboratory con ditions for 7 days and then exposed to varying sub-lethal concentrations of diazinon (1.0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5 and 10.0 mg /L) in semi-static bioassays for 30 d ays. T otal protein and the activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (A LT) w ere determ ined in plasm a, muscle, liver, gills and kidney.
