About the Presenters Dr. Dolhanty has worked in the field of eating disorders for 20 years. She did her doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at York University, and trained and worked in the Toronto General Hospital Eating Disorder Program for 15 years. She currently works as a psychologist in the Eating Disorder Clinic at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario, and at the Mt. Pleasant Therapy Centre in Toronto. For the past five years she has worked closely with Dr. Leslie Greenberg to develop the application of EmotionFocused Therapy to eating disorders, and has trained other professionals extensively in this and other topics in the treatment of eating disorders. She is known for her enthusiastic and engaging style of teaching, her ability to make complex material accessible, and her emphasis on skill development. Her workshops are lively as well as informative. Dr. Greenberg’s work has received international critical acclaim. Professor of psychology at York University, he is one of the primary developers of emotion-focused therapy for individuals and for couples. Dr. Greenberg received the 2004 distinguished Research Career Award of the International Society for Psychotherapy Research, of which he was a past President. He recently was awarded the Canadian Psychological Association professional Award for distinguished contribution to psychology as a profession.
