DECEMBER EVENTS Mission Hospital Holiday Gala Organization: Mission Hospital Foundation Website: www.mission4health.com/gala One of the most elegant and engaging events in Orange County, this black-tie gala features live entertainment and dancing, super silent and live auctions, and incredible cocktails and food. Last year, guests were immersed in a “Journey through Wine Country” experience that included superb wines from boutique Napa and Sonoma wineries and luscious food pairings. One of the highlights of the evening was a raffle for an exquisite ring with round brilliant and pear-shaped diamonds valued at $25,000 donated by Lugano Diamonds. A special Fund a Need challenge supported the Mission Cancer Institute.

Friends of CASA Holiday Luncheon Organization: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County Website: www.casaholidayluncheon.com Friends of CASA Annual Holiday Luncheon & Fashion Show will be held at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point. Founded by the Junior League, Friends of CASA began as small group of dedicated women who came together to support CASA’s work benefiting children in the foster care system. Past fashion show partners through South Coast Plaza have included Intermix and Jimmy Choo (2017), Ted Baker London (2016) and Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet (2015). A champagne reception with a silent auction and a Starfish Wish Tree of “wishes” from the children CASA serves is a cornerstone to this amazing fundraiser.
