About the RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run 12,000 women (and a few supportive men) will create a sea of pink through the streets of Brisbane, as they complete either a 5km or 10km walk/run to help raise vital funds for practical breast cancer support services and breast cancer research at Mater.
The Cause The RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run raises much-needed funds for women living with breast cancer who are treated at Mater. Funds raised will go towards providing tangible support services such as counselling, yoga and art therapy and mastectomy bras for women who have lost one or both breasts. These support services will make life easier for women affected by breast cancer right now, when they need your support the most. Donations will also be helping to fund lifesaving research to better understand and treat breast cancer in the future.
