How do you get your financial aid on time for the Fall 2011 semester? Complete Steps 1 & 2 before the end of April 2011. This includes submitting your FAFSA on the web and submitting any required documents to the Financial Aid Office.
Read the Missing Information Letter mailed to your address or view your To Do list on MyCerritos. Download the required forms at www.cerritos.edu/finaid and submit these to the Financial Aid Office
REVIEW AWARD LETTER You will receive an Award Letter or you may view your awards on my.cerritos.edu. You must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards to be eligible for awards.
Find out what forms are required by viewing your To Do List on MyCerritos and submit these forms in-person, by drop-box, mail, or fax. The Financial Aid Office will begin sending award letters out in July 2011 for those who applied early.
RECEIVE DISBURSEMENT Receive and activate your Cerritos Falcon Card. The Financial Aid Office will disburse your financial aid. View account activity online at MyCerritos for refund status.

How long have you been receiving financial aid? I have been receiving financial aid since fall of 2008, for two and a half years. There is no way I would have been able to attend college without it. Being a single mom of three young boys, and few job skills there was no other option

myself had enough things to remember with classes, working, and children. I have already applied for financial aid at California State University, Fullerton for the 2011-2012 year. Financial Aid has taken me all the way to Cal State.
