T he silent auction begins approximately at 6:30 p.m. and ends approximately at 8:35 p.m. No bids will be accepted after an item is closed. 2. All bids for auction items must be in writing. 3. To bid on an item in the silent auction, write your Bid Number and your bid amount on the corresponding bid sheet. 4. Only bids that are equal to or exceed the stated minimum raise amount will be accepted. 5. You can guarantee winning a Silent Auction item by offering the “Buy It Now” price indicated on the bid sheet. 6. Bid sheets will be collected by Tulane University. 7. Table closings will be announced 10 minutes prior to closing. 8. A uction officials reser ve the right to delay times of any published table closing due to unforeseen circumstances. 9. Final bids and bid numbers will be posted approximately 15 minutes after the table closes. ———— For Live Auction: 1. The Live Auction is scheduled to start at approximately 8:40 p.m. 2. At the close of each item, the high bidder will be provided documentation for check out. ———— Check Out: 1. Check Out is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. No item may be collected prior to payment. 2. Auction items may be paid for by check or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). 3. A ll items must be paid in full and taken home the evening of the auction. If you are not able to take your items home, arrangements can be made at the time of sale. FedEx Office in the Lavin-Bernick Center will be open until 10 p.m. Any arrangements and expenses for deliver y are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. 4. You have the option of providing a credit card at the registration desk, so that your winning bid(s) will be charged automatically to your credit card in the event you depart before auction closes. Arrangements should be made to pickup/deliver items after the event at the purchaser’s sole expense.
