To access your IEEE English for Engineering subscription:

  Starting in the IEEE Learning Management System (LMS) Go to http://english.ieee-elearning.org/ Log in to authenticate with your corporate or individual user name and password

NOTE: Begin with the placement test to properly determine your current English skill level for all modules. NOTE: Only with an individual account can you personalize or earn CEUs When ready, there are two ways to access your IEEE English for Engineering subscription:

Starting in the IEEE Learning Management System (LMS) Go to http://english.ieee-eLearning.org Log in to authenticate with your IEEE Personal Account (individual user name and password) NOTE: Using your IEEE Personal Account allows you to track your progress and earn continuing education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs) plus print individual certificates of completion.

Taking a course

Log in to start (not all subscription options include access to IEEE Xplore)

In the IEEE LMS, go to NAVIGATON section and click COURSES Click any course category (LISTENING SKILLS, SPEAKING SKILLS, READING SKILLS, WRITING SKILLS) under “IEEE ENGLISH FOR ENGINEERING” and select an appropriate skill level (INTRODUCTORY, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED)

BROWSE EDUCATIONAL COURSES and click on IEEE English for Engineering On the course abstract page, click ACCESS COURSE to open the IEEE LMS

Click ENROLL ME and click CLICK TO PALY to access a module At the end of each module, there is a quiz to earn continuing education credits After passing the quiz, click the link to register your CEUs with IEEE. Print your certificate.
