1.1 Praksis Doctor

1.1 Praksis doctor in RIC since Friday 19/08/16. Set schedule 15.00- 19.00. Discussions with Metadrasis for interpreters present at the hospital were suggested. Change in nurses shift 11.00 – 19.00. Praksis operating in RIC since 23/08/16 but with no container.

1.2 Medical situation in RIC

1.2 Lack of antibiotics reported by Navy doctor. Confusion over who is following up on the 5 Pakistanis with scabies. Twelve incidents of PoCs with Human Intestinal Worms. Concerns over water and food quality by Praksis nurse

1.3 Medications

1.3 Special budget for medicines for Kos and Leros in PPA for WAHA. Clarification on secondary related medicine pending answer from Athens. To follow up. Since no doctor present currently, WAHA nurse cannot write prescriptions Praksis Athens will provide more medicine to RIC

1.4 WAHA and Praksis will draft jointly a leaflet with instructions for PoCs. Not presented. Expected on 31/08/16. No input from WAHA. Possibility of new staff from RIS to be stationed at the hospital. Medical Passport was drafted and presented by WAHA and agreed on

UNHCR printing copies. Medication Referral form from previous WAHA doctor was presented and agreed by everyone present. UNHCR will produced and delivered copies to Navy Doctor A list of available medicine by WAHA to be circulated. Navy doctor to compose a form for referring PoCs to other medical actors. Expected date of presentation 31/08/16. Case management coordination: Only HS and hospital doctors can book appointments to EKEPY as informed by WAHA nurse. Not through NGOs WAHA to follow up on private doctors funds. Private dentists an issue.

1.11 Hygiene promotion to be implemented soon. Samaritan’s Purse in process of implementing hygiene promotion. Linkage problem reported in shelter area was repaired through SP. Shower gel and personal hygiene items are being requested by PoCs

1.12 Food

1.12 Complaints from PoCs about food quality. UNHCR Field followed up. Reports that food for diabetics is not distributed in RIC. Verification pending

1.13 Navy doctor

1.13 Two new Navy Doctors present daily in RIC.

2.1 WAHA 2.2 Psychological support in Pikpa

2.3 Water tank in Pikpa

2.1 No WAHA doctor present 2.2 Psychologist from WAHA is stationed in Kos (40%) and Leros (60%). In Leros between 15 Aug – 5 Sept. 2.3 Tank was cleaned by LSN. Shade installed by SP.
