LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL*LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL*LITTLE LEAGUE CHALLENGER*AMERICAN LEGION May 22, 2018 Dear Players and Parents The Annual Caln AA Home Run Derby is scheduled for June 2nd. The Home Run Derby is our only fund raiser. We don’t ask players to pay to hit or sell anything, all we ask is for players to get pledges or sponsors. Players will have the opportunity to earn Caln Baseball or Caln Softball gear by reaching pledge levels. The pledge form is attached to this letter and outlines the gear available for each level. All players are eligible to hit regardless of getting pledges, however we are encouraging all players to participate. Registration will start at 8:30, and the first team will hit at 9:00. Please make sure that you have your child at the registration table 15 minutes before their team scheduled start time so we can get all the players registered and ready to hit. Players will have until the day of the Home Run Derby to get pledges. Players will need to bring their pledge forms along with all the monies the day of the derby. Cash and Checks made payable to Caln AA will be accepted. Please have your child’s completed form and all the money in the envelope with their Name, Team and Total amount of pledges on the front of the envelope as this will help streamline the registration process. Teams will begin hitting at 9:00 and hitting will be going on all day. Any player who misses their designated team batting time unfortunately will not be able to bat. With this in mind please make sure your child is at the field at the appropriate time. We encourage all players and families to hang around and support/cheer on their teammates and fellow players. The finals will begin at 5:00 pm. The top 6 hitters from each division will move on to the finals. We are looking to generate a fun and exciting event for the children that will also benefit Caln AA in the process. Thank You for your support.
