• Prior work suggests that greater functional deficits are seen in bvFTD than in nfvPPA or svPPA1-4. • However, it remains uncertain if these FTD subtypes exhibit different patterns and/or predictors of functional decline.
Methods • We identified 894 FTD patients from the National Alzheimer Coordinating Center (NACC) Uniform Dataset (UDS), comprising three groups: bvFTD (n=607), svPPA (n=132), and nfvPPA (n=155). • Instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) were assessed with the Functional Activities Questionnaire (FAQ).
