Artificial intelligence will reach human levels by around 2029. Follow that out further to, say, 2045, we will have multiplied the intelligence, the human biological machine intelligence of our civilization a billion-fold.

When you talk to a human in 2035, you'll be talking to someone that's a combination of biological and non-biological intelligence. Intelligent Machines and Robotics (IM Robotics) Research Group

Is to address open challenges in artificial general intelligence and machine consciousness a. b.

c.

Objective and Aims

Emulate cognition and phenomenal consciousness using Hybrid Approach. Design and Implementation of Cognitive Infrastructure required for (a) to achieve fundamental socio-cognitive communication skills for human-like verbal and non-verbal interaction. To achieve believable behaviors in socio-cognitive machines as the basis and necessary step to establish promising relationship between man-machine.

Is to develop a technology that could be used for commercialization purpose after knowledge-transfer. Enable a physical robot (off-the-shelf, like NAO) to perform function in a family unit, with limited pre-defined physical skills sets; due to the scope and the extend of the work require to complete aims a, b and c.

Design and Implementation NiHA’s Core Cognitive Engine using QuBIC (Quantum and Bio-inspired Intelligent and Consciousness Mode) as a Reference Architecture. Milestones: 

Design and Implementation of Architectural Framework using QuBIC

Design and Implementation of Qogneugent (Quantum/Cognition/Neural inspired Codelets as Mind Agents )

Construction of human like cognitive memory structures which simulates forgetting/hazing memory, false memory, memory distortion, event-independent memories that may result into human like performance, application of knowledge to other scenarios without massive editing.

To implement bottom-up and top-down attention regulatory system.

To implement the realization of knowledge dimensionality from factual knowledge to conceptualization and related cognitive processing from remembering to application in episodic and semantic memory as the basis for conscious experience.

To implement series of Qogneugents to regulate dynamics of content selection from cognitive memories based on attention, drive oriented motivation regulatory cues using truthiness, activation levels and signal strength of interrelated knowledge (semantic memory) and autobiographical entities (episodic memory)
